Leap of Logic

Today I was telling Evan that we had to return our books/movies to the library, but we wouldn't be able to get more books because the library would be closed for Veterans Day.

"What's Veterans Day?"
"On Veterans Day, we celebrate soldiers who fought in wars. So, that means that places like libraries and post offices are closed."
"Mama, why did the soldiers close the libraries?"
